Part 1 – On 10-11 April the G-2 will host a conference for all S-2 in the Division. Attendance by all Brigade, Battalion and Squadron S-2 is mandatory.

Alpha Company reports that K-9 team had a dog sense some movement and alerted it’s owner. M-79 and grenade were employed.

This message prescribes procedures for reporting data on improved conventional munitions and is applicable to 4th Infantry Division units employing ARC 444, ARC 449 and ARC 404 artillery projectiles. ARC 33 frags and ARC 386 40mm cartridges. Report will be submitted to 1st Brigade Headquarters no later than second day following the end of each quarter and will contain following info.

Delta Company reports movement to their east. About 1-2 people by the wire and sounds like more down about 25 meters. Light organics have been employed.

Delta Company reports that movement has stopped and gave light organics end of mission. Listening Posts are out.

Charlie Company reports that they have a fire heading their way about 75 meters. It’s under control and they have the banks.

Delta Company reports that a trip flare went off and they employed light organics. He believes it was a branch from the tree because of the wind and the fire in the holes might have loosened some branches to fall on the trip flare wire.

Alpha Company SRP13 saw one NVA through Starlight scope. The NVA was at YA 831802. A flare northeast way out from Cider was in the air they saw the NVA would hide behind a tree. When the flare went out the NVA got up and fled north to south. Light organics being employed. Also had movement on the east side of perimeter. Light organics being employed on east side.

Delta Company LP reports movement to north. Pulled LP in and is employing light organics.

Alpha Company reports negative situation report and so does SRP13.

Delta Company SRP43 reports that they believe they saw an individual slide down the hill west of D Co location. D Co is moving the light organics to that location.
